For the unversed, Wallen participated in this weekend’s SNL episode but quickly walked off at the end. His sudden departure from the screen felt odd, as other cast members were still hanging out and exchanging greetings.After the episode, he posted an Instagram story, “Get me to God’s country.



” While the 31-year-old chart-topping singer did not provide any explanation, an exclusive source told Page Six that Wallen was not ready to participate in a comedic sketch for the show. The singer was reportedly “not super friendly” on the set.The source revealed that Wallen refused to do the sketch, “so they got Joe instead.

” The source further added, “They had hopes he would do the pre-tape and perhaps more, but no joy.” The insider also claimed Morgan “did what he was asked.” But apart from his involvement as a musical guest, he did not participate in anything else.

Kenan Thompson, a cast member of Saturday Night Live, has weighed in on Wallen’s SNL walk-off drama. Thompson told Entertainment Weekly, “I don’t know what goes through people’s minds when they decide to do stuff like that. I don’t know if he understood the assignment or not or if he was really feeling a certain kind of way.

”He also noted that he “definitely saw” the singer’s sudden exit from the show. Thompson added, “You see somebody before you get a chance to say hi or say good job or anything like that; they (sic) just dipping.” He quipped, “I thought maybe he had to go to the potty or something.
