More police will be visible for Halloween as they issue safety advice

Police issued safety guidance for Halloween as they announced more officers will be out. Advice includes reminding people to stay in well-lit adults, for adults to accompany young children when out trick-or-treating and to be considerate about those not partaking in the festivities. Brighton and Hove Police said more officers will be out across the city during the week and they are assuring residents that any form of anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated.

Road users are also being encouraged to be more vigilant when out on October 31 with more children expected to be out. Posters are available on the police website for those who wish not to be involved, and police are asking people to ensure these are respected. Police are asking for any disturbance or anti-social behaviour to be reported either online or by calling 999.
