A MORBIDLY obese dad who feared he was going to die after collapsing in a supermarket has shed 22st and won a slimmers’ award. Kenny Higgins — down from 34st to 12st — was spending £140 a week on takeaways. Kenny, 48, was 34st 7lb when he collapsed in a supermarket while shopping with six-year-old daughter Hope in Blackpool in 2023. Doctors warned he was in danger of a fatal heart attack due to his obesity. During three weeks in intensive care, Kenny even recorded a goodbye message for loved-ones.
