BOZEMAN — Montana State reserve wide receiver/special teams player Garrett Walchli has entered the transfer portal, he announced Wednesday on social media . The Hermiston, Oregon, native will be entering as a graduate transfer. Walchli is the ninth known Bobcat to enter the portal since the first portal window opened Dec.

The others are reserve linebacker Cole Bullock , reserve running back Elijah Elliott, All-American RB Scottre Humphrey , All-American tight end/fullback Rohan Jones , backup RB/wide receiver/starting kickoff returner Marqui Johnson , All-American offensive lineman Conner Moore , backup defensive back Blake Stillwell (who signed with Southern Utah) and reserve RB Jared White . After no game action from 2020-22 at Utah State, Walchli transferred to MSU, walked on and appeared in eight games combined in the 2023 and 2024 seasons.
