Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) secured an important victory against Mumbai Indians (MI), securing their second win in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. Coming to bat first, LSG posted 203/8 on the board. The batter was the star of CSK as he secured a massive record.

Mitchell March kept his brilliant form, as he scored 60 runs off 31 balls, consisting of 9 fours and 2 sixes. With this knock, he became the first player for Lucknow Super Giants to secure this feat. Overall, Marsh became the 9th player to score 560 runs in powerplay.



Coming to the match, MI had lost their openers in the early phase, but some fast-paced action from Naman Dhir and Suryakumar Yadav kept the team alive. However, Tilak Varma showed a rather peculiar performance and struggled on the pitch. As a result, the team called to ‘retire out’ the star when final 7 balls were remaining, and Mitchell Santner was sent to join Hardik Pandya.

MI have had a poor start to their season as they have won just a single match out of the four they have played till now, and are at the 7th place on the points table.
