Former Murphy chief of staff George Helmy has made the journey down the northeast corridor to begin his brief tenure as senator from the great state of New Jersey. Let’s all wish him good luck and an exciting experience at congressional sleep away camp. Helmy was appointed to hold down the fort in the wake of former Senator Bob Menendez’s conviction and will serve until the winner of the November election takes office in January.
