The Miss Universe Philippines organization announced James Reid as the first performer for the 2025 coronation night. Meanwhile, Tim Yap and Erika Kristensen-Lee are named backstage hosts. Earlier, Gabbi Garcia and Xian Lim were announced as the main stage hosts of the coronation night of Miss Universe Philippines 2025.
The coronation night is set for May 2, 6 p.m., at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
The pageant's preliminary competition will take place on April 28 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Pasay City. Sixty-seven candidates will vie for the Miss Universe Philippines 2025 crown after Chella Falconer of Cebu Province and Hannah Michelle Gilmore of Los Angeles withdrew from the pageant. The winner will be crowned by Miss Universe Philippines 2024 and reigning Miss Universe Asia , Chelsea Manalo, and will represent the Philippines in Miss Universe 2025, which will take place on November 21 at the Impact Muong Thong Thani Arena in Bangkok, Thailand .
