Miri’s SK Agama places third in national pantun contest

MIRI (Aug 31): SK Agama Sarawak Islamic Council (MIS) Miri made the state proud when it won third place in the 2024 National Primary School Pantun Festival competition. The competition, organised by the Education Ministry’s (MoE) Sports, Co-Curriculum and Arts Division, took place in Terengganu from Aug 25 to 29.

The team comprised Mya Ezzahra Amani Helmi Idzuan, Mohamad Qaiser Dasuki Mohamad Faizan, Naazneen Amani Abdul Khairil Rani, Lamia Az-Zahra Mohd Lokman and Rumaysa Haniyya Sajjarul Noreerzan. The students were accompanied by their coach Helmi Tambi and teacher Nur Hidayah Abdul Latip. Additionally, the team also took home the ‘Best Primary School Team Self-Appearance’ award.
