The Australian model, 41, revealed on the Not Alone Podcast she was left shocked and heartbroken when her boyfriend Christopher Middlebrook died suddenly. Miranda, who has four sons and shares three with husband Evan Spiegel, admitted her life could have turned out very different if the tragic accident didn't happen.

'My boyfriend passed away when I was a teenager. If that hadn't happened I would have been happily married and been a country bumpkin like I was,' she said. 'The fact he died so suddenly was such a shock to my system because he died in a car accident.



It was a lesson to not take anything for granted in my life.' Miranda also revealed she suffered a heartbreaking miscarriage after welcoming her first son Flynn, 13, with her ex husband Orlando Bloom who she was with from 2010 to 2013. 'I actually had a miscarriage and it was a boy as well,' she revealed.

Miranda said she was 'naive' during her first pregnancy and became much more 'knowledgeable' with each pregnancy. She remains close with her ex Bloom and his fiancée Katy Perry, with the singer, 39, previously saying their relationship dynamic was that of a 'modern family'. Miranda previously revealed she had named her oldest son Flynn after her late boyfriend, with his middle name being Christopher. Speaking to Australia's Daily Telegraph after his birth, she said: 'After he died, I wrote him a letter that said I hoped to name my first child after him in some way.

' 'I told Orlando and he was the one who said he'd be happy to do that.'
