Goaltender Tristan Jarry stopped 31 shots as the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins shut out the Bridgeport Islanders, 3-0 , at Mohegan Sun Arena in Wilkes-Barre on Friday. It was Jarry’s first shutout of the season at either the NHL or American Hockey League (AHL) levels and boosted his AHL record to 6-3-0. Forward Boris Katchouk had a goal and an assist for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (25-11-4-0) while linemate Ville Koivunen recorded two assists.

Also contributing goals were forwards Sam Poulin and Tristan Broz, who returned to the lineup for the first time since Dec. 28 due to a bout with mononucleosis that sidelined him for 12 games according to Inside AHL Hockey .
