Following the approval of the new National minimum wage by the Federal Government, the Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni on Thursday constituted a 10-member committee to look into it. This is contained in a statement signed by the Head of Civil Service, Hamidu M. Alhaji.

According to the statement made available to New Telegraph, the Committee would work out modalities for the successful implementation of the new national minimum wage in the state. “The Committee will also determine the financial implication of the implementation of the new minimum wage at the State and Local Government, “Additionally, to making recommendations for government consideration”, the statement added.
