Miniature food festival to be held in Banbury this weekend

Banbury Town Council is launching its 2025 events season with the return of Taste of Spring this weekend.

Banbury Town Council is launching its 2025 events season with the return of Taste of Spring. The event will take place on Sunday, April 13, starting at 10.30am in Market Place and finishing at around 4.

30pm. The miniature food festival will feature dozens of stalls offering a variety of dishes and products, many with a seasonal theme. As well as the food and drink, there will be live music performances organised by Banbury Music Mix Radio.



The music line-up includes Beverley Gray, Dave Arrowsmith, Dom James Jr, Leighton Tongue, David Walls, and Fade to Grey, with performances from 10.30am until 4.15pm.

Taste of Spring is the first in a series of Banbury Town Council events for 2025, marking the council's 25th anniversary. Other events in the calendar include Banbury Music Mix, Banbury Canal Festival, and the Town Mayor's Funday. This is in addition to events delivered by , such as the Michaelmas Fair and Victorian Christmas Market.

Many of Banbury Town Council's events are designed to bring locals and visitors into Market Place and the town centre. On Sunday, visitors will be able to stop at a number of businesses up and down High Street and other areas, all of which will be operating throughout the event..
