Milder weather returns to region to wrap up week

While it has felt like fall for the early part of the week, we see a return to the 60s for much of the Northland on Thursday, although it will become breezy.

Thursday looks to be a return to sunny and mild weather across much of the region this afternoon. Winds will be the main nuisance, picking up out of the southwest at around 15-25 mph for a breezy day. However, with plenty of sunshine and that south breeze, much of the Northland will warm into the upper 60s.

Overnight, a few clouds look to move through, keeping temperatures in the 40s, however, that southwest breeze will continue into Friday. Even as the clouds linger to start the day, temperatures will stay comfortable, topping out near 70 degrees again for much of the region. ADVERTISEMENT For the weekend, we have cloudier skies lingering and temperatures will remain mild.

Saturday currently appears to be the best chance for some showers to move through as a warm front lifts through the area. With cloudy skies, highs remain in the low 60s. For the end of the weekend, the clouds will begin to clear out and we stay closer to 70 degrees heading into next week.
