As part of a private tour for him and his then-wife, Robin Givens, Tyson noticed a dominant silverback gorilla bullying others in its enclosure.

"When we got to the gorilla cage there was one big silverback gorilla there just bullying all the other gorillas. They were so powerful but their eyes were like an innocent infant. I offered the attendant $10,000 to open the cage and let me smash that silverback's snot box.

He declined," Tyson had told The Independent. Tyson's wild lifestyle not only included dreams of beating up a gorilla but also domesticating a tiger which he bought from the black market as a cub. Reports say Tyson once owned three Bengal tigers but had to get rid of them when one tiger ripped a person's hand off.
