Mike Tyson took a bite at a wisecrack on Friday when asked about his frequent glove chewing during his highly-anticipated heavyweight fight against Jake Paul . “I have a habit of biting my glove when I fight, yes,” said the former heavyweight champion after his loss by unanimous decision to the Youtuber-turned-boxer. “Why do you do that?” asked combat sports journalist Ariel Helwani.
“I have a biting fixation,” replied Tyson, referring to an infamous episode where he bit off part of Evander Holyfield ’s ear during a boxing match in 1997. “I’ve heard about that. I don’t want to know more,” Helwani shot back.
