Florida State head coach Mike Norvell has one of the hottest seats in college football, yet he doesn’t seem inclined to make the changes needed to shake things up and snap the Seminoles out of their 0-3 funk. With throngs of fans calling for his firing, Norvell is under fire again heading into FSU’s Saturday matchup against California for his decision to stick with struggling quarterback DJ Uiagalelei, per ESPN’s Pete Thamel. Uiagalelei has completed just 56.

6% of his passes for 666 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions while taking eight sacks in three games. Despite the growing amount of calls for FUS to roll with backup QB Brock Glenn, Norvell hasn’t been willing to oblige. Seminoles fans weren’t shy in making it known how they felt about Norvell’s decision, taking to social media to blast the 42-year-old coach for falling victim to his own stubbornness.

Melina Myers-Imagn Images “Welp another L coming,” one fan wrote . “Terrible decision. He is losing the team and the fans with this debacle,” commented another .

“In Mike, I trust no more. Absolutely horrible decision,” remarked one user. “Thanks.

Selling my tickets,” quipped another fan. “The last time I watched a FSU game & just shut the TV off in disgust..

..? Has been never.

I came really close to doing it last week but didn't, bro I don't know if I can do it this week if we see more of the same,” exclaimed another. “Man just wants his buyout at this point,” joked another user. If Florida State were to fall to 0-4, one would think Norvell would be one step closer to being fired.

Should Norvell get canned, his buyout would cost the Seminoles approximately $25 million..
