Microsoft is again urging organisations and individuals to check their computer system to see whether it can cope with an update to Windows 11. Support for Windows 10 will end in less than a year (October 2025), and in light of this Microsoft says in a new blog post that “it’s important to revisit a key minimum system requirement for Windows 11: Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 2.0”.

A device might malfunction due to these compatibility or other issues.
Devices that don’t meet these system requirements aren’t guaranteed to receive updates, including but not limited to security updates.” “If you proceed with installing Windows 11, your PC will no longer be supported and won’t be entitled to receive updates.
