Mickey Rourke will be leaving the Big Brother house after a showdown with ITV bosses over his behaviour on the reality show. The American actor, 72, was initially pegged to be the first celebrity for eviction after fans criticised his flirty behaviour towards show host AJ Odudu on the show's opening night. Although he survived the first public vote, with Michael Fabricant getting axed from the house instead, he has now been asked to leave by show bosses.
A spokesperson for the ITV show commented on the situation saying: "Mickey Rourke has agreed to leave the Celebrity Big Brother House this evening following a discussion with Big Brother regarding further use of inappropriate language and instances of unacceptable behaviour."
