Michelle Trachtenberg’s cause of death revealed months after ‘Gossip Girl’ star’s sudden passing at 39

The former child star, 39, who appeared in a variety of TV shows and movies including “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” and “Gossip Girl,” was found by her mother on Feb. 26 in her Central Park South apartment. She had undergone a liver transplant in the last year, which sources at the time speculated may have contributed to her death.
