Debbie Rowe, 66, was spotted in Palmdale, California , on Monday, nearly ten years after her successful battle with breast cancer. The ex-wife of Michael Jackson was seen running errands, including cashing a check, before driving away in her $200,000 custom-built, supercharged Range Rover Vogue. Rowe, who is the mother to Paris, 27, and Prince, 28, looked almost unrecognizable in a blue button-up shirt, light jeans, and white sneakers.

She wore her blonde hair down with bangs and a soft curl, and kept her eyes hidden behind dark sunglasses. Rowe's public appearance comes shortly after the release of Leaving Neverland 2: Surviving Michael Jackson, the sequel to the 2019 documentary that examined sexual abuse allegations against the late singer. Rowe, a former nurse, was married to Jackson from 1996 to 1999 after a private ceremony in Sydney, Australia .

After being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2016, Rowe completed her final chemotherapy treatment in 2017. At the time, Paris celebrated the milestone publicly.

In 2021, Paris spoke about her mother on Red Table Talk, describing their bond as relaxed. "It's just cool having her as a friend," Paris said. "It's very chill – which I love – it's the perfect word to describe it.

" Paris explained they became close when she was 15, and found they share musical tastes. "It's cool. I mean like, getting to know her, seeing how similar we are, getting into what kind of music she likes, and she really likes country and folk," she shared.

"I should have done something and I didn't," she confessed during TMZ Investigates: Who Really Killed Michael Jackson.

"There is a number of people that died from addictions and in some way I was part of it," she further admitted. Rowe had previously been employed by Dr. Arnold Klein, the Beverly Hills dermatologist who treated Jackson and supplied him with painkillers and cosmetic injections.

"I was basically as bad as him, and I am so sorry I participated in it," she expressed. After Jackson's death in 2009 due to a drug-induced cardiac arrest, his doctor, Dr. Conrad Murray, was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter.

However, Rowe's statements imply she believes the blame is more widespread. Jackson's legacy continues to be reexamined, with the new documentary reigniting interest in allegations that have trailed him since the 1990s, despite his acquittal in 2005..
