Birth: December 8, 1946 Death: August 26, 2024 of Dunstable, MADunstableMichael Arthur Mullavey, 77, of Dunstable, MA and Naples, FL, passed away on Monday, August 26, 2024, at Lowell General Hospital. Born in Portsmouth, NH, Michael was the son of Gordon and Charlotte Mullavey.He graduated from St.

Thomas Aquinas High School in Dover, NH, in the Class of 1964 and went on to earn a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of New Hampshire.



Michael married Jill Sullivan on December 3, 1977 and together they shared a life full of love and happiness. He retired as Head Golf Professional of Mt. Pleasant Golf Club after a remarkable tenure of over 40 years and recently celebrated his 50th year as a member of the PGA of America.

Through golf, Michael touched the lives of many and always relished the opportunity to meet new people and give back to the community, such as his yearly clinics for the students from the Perkins School for the Blind.Apart from golf, Michael adored horse-racing as a co-owner of JMJ Stables and made nearly yearly pilgrimages to Saratoga. When at the craps table, Michael suggests you always press it and don’t forget to bet the hard ways (your results may vary).

A life-long fisherman, Michael also enjoyed gardening in his spare time in Dunstable. In his retirement, he worked at the International Golf Club in Bolton, MA and at Tiburon Golf Club in Naples, FL.In addition to his wife Jill, Michael is survived by his son, Michael Mullavey Jr.

, and his wife Veronica Guerra of Coral Gables, FL; his daughter, Jaclyn Addorio, and her husband John Addorio of Naples, FL; his brothers, Kevin Mullavey of Rye, NH, and Jeffrey Mullavey and his wife Paula of Kiawah Island, SC; and three grandchildren, Roman Addorio, Charlotte Addorio, and Michael Mullavey III. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews and countless friends. Michael was predeceased by his brother, Gordon Mullavey.
