Micah Parsons sounded off on social media during Thursday Night Football as Saquon Barkley put together another big game in a victory against the Washington Commanders. Like everyone else watching the NFC East clash, Parsons was impressed by Barkley, who came alive late with massive runs during the 26-18 win. Barkley finished the game with 26 carries for 146 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

He added two catches for 52 yards. Barkley signed a three-year, $37.75 million deal with the Eagles this offseason after spending his first six seasons with the New York Giants.

Parsons doesn't understand how the Giants let Barkley walk away, instead opting to extend quarterback Daniel Jones. "I blame the giants..

.." Parsons wrote on X .

"All jokes aside the Giants almost made us believe Saquon wasn’t HIM anymore!! That really says a lot!! Daniel Jones was paid over Saquon! He was worth more to their franchise!! This really says a lot!!" © Andrew Dieb-Imagn Images Barkley has already eclipsed his rushing total (962) from his last season with the Giants, and he's on pace for a career year. His best season on the ground came in 2022, when he rushed for 1,312 yards and 10 touchdowns. With the win, Barkley and the Eagles moved to 8-2 and sit alone atop the NFC East.

Parsons and the Cowboys have some significant work to do if they want to stay even relatively in the postseason conversation. Dallas is 3-6 and will play the rest of the season without quarterback Dak Prescott, who had season-ending hamstring surgery. Related: Eagles’ Sideline Reaction To Saquon Barkley Hurdle Goes Viral.
