MGK sets record straight on his and Megan Fox's baby daughter's name

MGK has addressed confusion around the name of his and Megan Fox ’s newborn daughter. The 34-year-old American rapper and singer-songwriter - previously known as Machine Gun Kelly - took to Instagram on Monday to clarify that the baby girl’s name is not "Celestial Seed.” The confusion arose after he referred to the child as that when initially announcing her birth .

Uploading a video of him proudly showing off his offspring, MGK wrote in the accompanying caption: "She’s finally here!! our little celestial seed.” The internet obviously ran with that, and he has now set the record straight, explaining that her real name has yet to actually be revealed. her name isn’t ‘Celestial Seed’," followed by a laughing emoji. “Her mom is gonna tell you the name when we're ready,” he continued. The tot had quite the arrival as her musician dad said he “composed the score of the birth”.

“Born into 432 HZ," the Till I Die hit-maker wrote on his Instagram Stories on Friday. "What an epic journey praise god.” He also gave a special mention to his collaborators on the score, including friend and Sum 41 drummer Travis Barker.

This marks the second child for MKG - real name Colson Baker. He also shares a 15-year-old daughter, Casie Colson Baker, with his ex partner Emma Cannon. Meanwhile, this is Transformers actress Fox’s fourth child as she also shares sons Noah Shannon, 12, Bodhi Ransom, 11, and Journey River, 8, with ex-husband Brian Austin Green.

Sparks flew between MGK and Fox when they first met on a movie set in 2021 and got engaged in January 2022. They called it quits in December 2024 however, just weeks after announcing that they were expecting a baby together. Despite their personal differences, they are said to be fully committed to moving forward as co-parents.

“Whatever issues they have, Megan and MGK both are on the same page when it comes to co-parenting," a source told People. Adding: “Right now they’re amicable and focused on what’s best for their daughter.”.
