GaadiWaadi -MG Majestor is expected to go on sale in the second half of 2025 and it will be positioned in a more upmarket manner compared to the GlosterAt the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 in New Delhi, JSW MG Motor unveiled a series of new vehicles. Although many models acted as showcases of global technologies, the spotlight was on those intended for the Indian market. Taking centre stage were the Majestor full size SUV, M9 premium MPV and Cyberster.

The large SUV has been scheduled for launch in India in H2 2025 and it has been caught testing multiple times already. The Majestor is based on the Maxus D90 which is currently available in certain global markets. Acting as the refreshed version of the Gloster for India, it will be positioned as a more upscale option.



The Majestor will sit alongside the Gloster in the lineup, serving as its higher-spec variant, much like the Legender for the Toyota Fortuner range. It boasts several exterior updates over the Gloster and features a blacked-out front grille, slimmer LED daytime running lights, vertically arranged LED headlamps and redesigned LED tail lamps.Also Read: MG Windsor clocks 20,000 Sales In 6 Months – Fastest EV To Do So In IndiaThe SUV also gains more prominent front and rear skid plates, newly styled twin-spoke alloy wheels and twin exhaust outlets which can also be seen in the spy shots.

It will feature the 2.0L twin turbo diesel engine sourced from the Gloster. This powertrain delivers 213 bhp max power and 478 Nm of peak torque.

It will be mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission as standard with an optional 4WD system. The MG Majestor will take on Toyota Fortuner Legender and Isuzu MU-X while the equipment list will comprise a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, powered front seats with massage and ventilation functions, automatic climate control, panoramic sunroof, Level 2 ADAS, a 360-degree camera system, multiple airbags and so on.
