Former New York Mets star Keith Hernandez isn't afraid to share his political views on social media. He's made that very clear over the past few weeks. During the MLB playoffs, Hernandez interacted with a poll from Polymarket that showed Donald Trump winning most of the swing states, including Arizona, Georgia, North Carolina and Pennsylvania.

Instead of simply liking the post or scrolling past it, he commented, "They'll cheat." It doesn't take a genius to realize he was referring to the Democratic Party. With the election officially over, Hernandez has shifted his focus to Trump's cabinet for his upcoming term in the White House.

A few days ago, the President-elect picked Tulsi Gabbard as his director of national intelligence. Hernandez replied to a tweet that read, "Do you support Tulsi Gabbard joining Trump's new Administration?" He kept his response as short as possible. "Yes," the five-time All-Star wrote .

John Lamparski/Getty Images Gabbard, a former Democratic lawmaker, has received a lot of praise from Trump over the past few months. Obviously, that won't change anytime soon. "I know Tulsi will bring the fearless spirit that has defined her illustrious career to our Intelligence Community, championing our Constitutional Rights, and securing Peace through Strength," Trump said.

"Tulsi will make us all proud." Only time will tell if Gabbard can thrive in her new role. She clearly has Trump's support, as well as Hernandez's.
