Drizzle, mist, and fog are leading to damp and dreary conditions in Metro Detroit.Many people woke up to snow on the ground and vehicles Thursday morning, with at least two inches in some spots. The Irish Hills, Ann Arbor, Romulus, and Downriver reported the higher totals.
The chance of fog and mist will continue into the night. The low will be in the upper-20s to lower-30s. The cooler temperatures will be west of I-275 and north of M-59.
Freezing temperatures could lead to isolated slick spots due to residual moisture on sidewalks and roads. Winds will be out of the north-northeast at 5 to 10 mph.FridayFriday will bring a mixture of sunshine and clouds, with milder temperatures.
Expect highs in the upper-40s to 50 degrees. Northerly winds will be 5 to 15 mph with gusts up to 20 mph.Skies will be mostly clear on Friday night.
