Meta to invest $65bn in AI projects

Meta Platforms plans to invest as much as $65bn (€61.8bn) on projects related to artificial intelligence (AI) in 2025, including building a giant new data centre and increasing hiring in AI teams, CEO Mark Zuckerberg said Friday. The company intends to use the funds to build a data centre "so large that it would cover a significant part of Manhattan", Mr Zuckerberg said in a Facebook post.
