Following recent snow and cold temperatures the Met Office has issued another yellow weather warning. Parts of the East Midlands are being warned about ice forming and causing difficult travelling conditions. The warning will be in place from 4pm on Wednesday, November 20 until 10am on Thursday, November 21.

This comes after previous weather warnings were issued across the region for snow and ice, including a snow and ice warning for parts of Lincolnshire until 12pm today. The Met Office states: "Icy stretches are expected to form on untreated surfaces during Wednesday evening and overnight into Thursday as temperatures drop below freezing. A few sleet or snow showers are also likely at times, particularly close to coasts.

" Parts of Lincolnshire and Derbyshire fall into the warning areas. Including Skegness, Alford and Grimsby on the east coast as well as Ashbourne and Buxton near Derby..
