
Wales could be set for one of the warmest weeks of the year so far as temperatures are forecast to reach 20°C. According to the Met Office we could potentially have "rather warm conditions at times, but also cooler interludes." Get ready to bask in the sunshine as multiple areas across the country will have highs of 20°C on Friday, April 4, including Cardiff , Swansea , Carmarthenshire and Monmouthshire .
While Wrexham , Aberystwyth , Caernarfon and St David's will enjoy temperatures up to 19°C. The hottest time of day is expected to be around 4pm, with temperatures still remaining mild into the night. In Cardiff, it will still be warm on Friday evening, with 13°C forecast at 10pm.

The Met Office long range weather forecast for the UK between Thursday, April 3 to Saturday, April 12 says: "High pressure will often be centred to the north or east of the UK, maintaining relatively settled conditions much of the time. "This should result in lengthy spells of dry weather, probably with a fair bit of sunshine at times, but also an ongoing risk of overnight frosts, especially where winds fall light.
There is the chance of some low cloud or sea fog around some coastal areas. "Daytime temperatures will tend to fluctuate depending on the wind direction, with potential for both rather warm conditions at times, but also cooler interludes. It may also be rather breezy, perhaps with some occasional showery rain attempting to push into some southern and western areas, especially later in the period.
