Mercedes-Benz is recalling nearly 300 examples of its GLA small SUV due to a fault with its rear seat rails.

As a result, the seats could move beyond the defined end position during manual adjustment," the carmaker said in its recall notice.

"In the event of an accident or hard braking if the rear seats move beyond their defined end position it could increase the risk of injury or death to vehicle occupants." If you own an affected model, you should contact your authorised Mercedes-Benz dealer to schedule an appointment to have the work carried out as soon as possible, free of charge.
