Mela cops deploy tethered drones for aerial surveillance

1 2 Prayagraj : In a first, mela police has deployed a tethered drone with the objective of maintaining comprehensive aerial surveillance across the Maha Kumbh mela campus. "An expert team has been deployed to maintain its operation. It's a unique and advanced security tool and can switch to alert mode within seconds," SSP (Kumbh Mela) Rajesh Dwivedi told TOI.

While upgrading the security infrastructure to the highest standard on the mela campus, Dwivedi said: "The tethered drone's secure data transmission ensures it captures every detail, big or small, from above, making it a cornerstone of the hi-tech security measures in place.".
