Meghan Markle has opened up on what her life looks like on a daily basis with Prince Harry and their two children Prince Archie, five, and Princess Lilibet, three. Since quitting life as senior royals in 2020, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, 40 and 43, have lived on a sprawling estate in Montecito, California. While the couple are often seen out and about, they rarely speak about what life really looks like for them behind closed doors.

However, in a new interview with People , released just before Meghan’s new Netflix show “With Love, Meghan” aired on Tuesday, the duchess has lifted the lid on what life is like at home. She said: “I’m up before my kids are, so I’m normally up at 6:30, and then I get them up and dressed for the day, and we go downstairs.” The mum-of-two continued: "I love making breakfast for my family.

My husband and Archie both love fried eggs. “There’s a lot of bacon around here. And then sometimes you don’t have time for all that, and you just put a frozen waffle in the toaster and call it a day.

“And there’s no shame in that either.” As well as spending plenty of time at home with her husband and children, Meghan also revealed that she is able to also go out with Prince Harry for dinner when they want. She said: “We go to a lot of dinners, and not just in people’s homes or private rooms; we just go into the restaurant.

“I really love that we can just have fun.”.
