Rapper Megan Thee Stallion has revealed she fears performing live since being shot, which she has been trolled over repeatedly. Tory Lanez shot the 29-year-old, whose real name is Megan Pete, in 2020 and was sentenced to ten years in prison – but many of the rapper's fans have claimed Megan is lying about the incident . The traumatic shooting along with the trolling has left her anxious to perform , fearing being shot again, this time by one of Lanez's supporters.

I always think somebody’s going to do something to me. “So many guys online say, ‘You should have got shot in the head,' ‘He should’ve finished the job,' ‘He should have killed your a--.
' “I can’t separate trolling from real life. Am I safe to perform in front of thousands of people? I don’t know who’s in this crowd.” Reflecting on her mental health before Lanez was found guilty, she continues: “I had a real breakdown.
"I didn’t feel like my life had any kind of value. I had to call 911 because I couldn’t breathe. I thought I was about to die.
“It was like three days in bed. I just cried every day. I never would have been a suicidal person .
. . but I was feeling like that.
I was like, I’d rather not live through this than to have to live with this.” However, Megan revealed she got help and now the WAP rapper added: “For the first time since my momma was alive, I’m taking care of myself. I do feel hopeful for what’s next for me.
I’m manifesting happiness.” Megan has also recently filed a bombshell lawsuit against YouTuber and social media personality Milagro Gramz for allegedly acting as a "mouthpiece and puppet" for Lanez. In a new lawsuit filed on October 30, Megan's attorney, Alex Spiro, accused Gramz, born Milagro Elizabeth Cooper, of carrying out a public campaign to "denigrate, belittle, insult, and spread false statements" about Megan on behalf of Lanez.

Spiro has dubbed the move as a "violation" of Florida statute, which bans "altered sexual depictions" of real people. In a statement shared with DailyMail.
com , Megan shared: "It’s time to hold bloggers accountable for years of harassment, cyberbullying and the publication of misinformation about my personal and professional life. "I’ve endured countless attacks on my character based on false narratives from social media bloggers misrepresenting themselves as journalists." She went on: "It’s unacceptable behavior and these individuals need to understand there will be repercussions for recklessly posting lies and defamatory falsehoods.
" Gramz acknowledged the lawsuit in a post on X, formerly Twitter, writing: "I've been informed that I am being sued by Alex Spiro on behalf of his client Megan Thee Stallion." After quoting from the letter, she added: "Of course we’ll chat about it. They threw in the tape too.
" The lawsuit goes on to allege that Gramz spread false statements "for no other reason than to bully, harass and punish Ms. Pete for [Lanez's] conviction and to tarnish her reputation, causing emotional distress." Elsewhere in the filing, it references the blogger's choice to share the alleged deepfake video, reading: "The lengths to which Defendant Cooper goes to harass Ms.
Pete knows no bounds. For example, she has gone so far as to share a deepfake pornographic video of Ms. Pete.
"After Defendant’s conduct led to a firestorm of negative reaction from others, Defendant doubled-down in a YouTube video on June 9, 2024, claiming Ms. Pete was a “professional victim” and denying any wrongdoing." It continued: "But Defendant is wrong—her conduct was an unlawful promotion of an altered sexual depiction and caused Ms.
Pete severe emotional distress and reputational harm.".
