A woman has set herself the task to walk every street in Brighton. Chloe Belchamber, is documenting her journey on social media platform TikTok and has so far reached hundreds of thousands of viewers both locally and internationally. The 27-year-old's decision to embark on the extensive walking challenge was not just about exploring the city but also about enhancing her mental wellbeing.

"This challenge helps me keep accountable and pull myself out of a rut." Her journey has proven to be both therapeutic and rewarding, allowing her to focus on something positive while reconnecting with her surroundings. Chloe, who is originally from Brisbane in Australia, has lived in Brighton for more than five years, and thinks the city deserves more praise.
Read more: Hove named among UK's best places to live in 2025 "I love Brighton, I can't imagine myself living anywhere else," said Chloe. "Brighton is such a beautiful city." Chloe is currently on walk number 11 and her TikTok followers are eagerly awaiting her next one.

(Image: Chloe Belchamber) When asked which street is her favourite she said: "Down by the pier is amazing, there are just so many to choose from. “I want to show people how much there is to appreciate in Brighton, especially places that might otherwise be overlooked.
" TikTok has allowed Chloe, who works for a creative agency, to connect with her followers, who have been sending in suggestions for streets and areas she should visit next. "Everyone is suggesting tall hills, and I’ve had so many people asking me to visit streets they used to live on, for example old Brighton university students," she said. Chloe’s fans are not just watching, they are actively participating in her journey, which has made the experience even more meaningful to her.
One of Chloe’s favourite discoveries so far has been the "Cuddly Colony" in East Street, a quirky and hidden spot she never knew existed before starting her walks. (Image: Brighton & Hove Museums) "It’s so bizarre and hidden, I never knew that existed but now it’s one of my favourite places.
" Chloe says she is looking forward to finding more hidden gems. On the subject of Tiktok, Chloe has encouraged others interested in content creation to be brave and give it a go. "Just go for it - you could film anything," she said.
"People should pursue it if they want to." As she continues her walks, Chloe’s adventure is not just about ticking off streets on a map but it is about reminding people of the beauty that exists all around them..
