The Women of the Davenport NAACP is hosting a free "Meet Local Authors" event on Saturday from 3-5 p.m. in partnership with the Quad Cities Black Authors Collective.
Local authors will discuss their works, answer community members' questions and sign and sell books. The event will take place at the Friends of MLK Center, located at 501 Brady St. in Davenport.
