The BBC has revealed its latest contestants for the new series of The Apprentice and one of them is from East Lancashire. Lord Sugar will be looking for a candidate to invest in as the 19th series starts. He’ll be joined by his trusted advisors Baroness Karren Brady and Tim Campbell MBE.
A total of 18 new candidates are battling it out for the opportunity of a lifetime to win Lord Sugar’s £250,000 investment and mentorship. Among those 18 contestants is Emma Rothwell who is originally from Accrington but is now based in Essex. Emma set up her business in lockdown and said her biggest business success to date is “taking £600 and turning it into a successful and profitable business without any help or investment.” When asked what her business plan is, she said: “To evolve my already successful business to the next level. To create an online platform where anyone can upload their designs onto gifts and earn passive income.
“Creating a community of creators and consumers. ” When asked why she thinks she deserves Lord Sugar’s investment, she said: “I’ve already created something successful and now I’m ready for the next stage.
