But his much younger wife, Raquel Stroll (née Diniz), prefers to make the world her runway. The 38-year-old model-turned-fashion designer has been spending a lot of time in the Formula One pit lane in recent years, supporting her husband’s team and her stepson, Lance Stroll , who drives for the Aston Martin Aramco Formula One outfit.

She looked radiant in a black and white, floor-length dress as she celebrated the big reveal of Aston Martin’s V12 flagship sports car, the new Vanquish.
Stroll’s dress was her own creation, from her eponymous brand. Advertisement The star-studded affair saw the Strolls rub shoulders with celebrities such as Benedict Cumberbatch , George and Amal Clooney, Adrien Brody, Joe Alwyn and Daniel Craig. Lance Stroll and fellow Aston Martin driver, double world champion Fernando Alonso, were on hand to unveil the sleek new car.

According to The New York Times, she started her career in fashion as a swimsuit model before going on to study fashion design at the prestigious Istituto Marangoni in Milan. Its notable alumni include Indian designer Rahul Mishra and late Moschino founder Franco Moschino.
For a while, Stroll worked in public relations at Noona Smith-Petersen for brands such as Valentino. She started designing in 2012, sharing her creations with her colleagues and friends, many of whom were socialites in London, New York and Milan. Word of mouth led to higher demand and Stroll (then still Diniz) released her first ready-to-wear collection in 2016.
Thus, Raquel Diniz, the brand, was born. “My Brazilian roots; colours and prints, curves and architecture are my inspiration,” she revealed on the brand’s website. In 2022, Stroll opened her label’s first flagship store, on Milan’s Via Santo Spirito, with Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones in attendance.
She’s Lawrence Stroll’s second wife.
