Meet Elise Koch, one of the 2024-2025 iCAP clerks. Koch is a Junior in Sustainable Design with minors in Environmental Economics and Law, and is a member of the Transportation iCAP Team. As a clerk, Koch organizes Transportation Team meetings and agendas.
She seeks out new databases and sources that help the team carry out their goals, and offers support for team events. For Koch, participating in an iCAP Team is about bringing equity and sustainability to transportation initiatives. “This is essential for access to community resources and building a strong network across cities,” she said.
Through her work, she hopes to learn more about transportation planning and improve her community engagement skills. “There are always ways cities can improve, and I love being a part of the conversation!” she said. In her free time, Koch loves to go on runs, play pickleball, and climb.
