We are talking about none other Zeenat Aman was a successful model before becoming an actress. She won both the Femina Miss India pageant and the Miss Asia Pacific International pageant in 1970. Her Bollywood breakthrough came in 1971 after the release of Haré Rama Haré Krishna.
Following this, she went on to grab superhit films and never looked back. Well, Zeenat Taman achieved a lot in her professional life, but she always grabbed headlines for her tumultuous personal life. The actress reportedly had 5 affairs and was married twice.
In 1978, she got married to Sanjay Khan, but their marriage was annulled just a year later in 1979. In 1980, Zeenat became a victim of domestic violence when Sanjay assaulted her, causing severe injuries. This incident left the actress with a broken jaw and a permanent laze eye.
After this horrific incident, Zeenat Aman got married again in 1985 with actor Mazhar Khan. In less than a year, the actress started experiencing problems in her marital life. In an interview, Zeenat revealed how her husband got addicted to several things and was beyond help.

He always wanted me to be with the kids and be at home. During the very first year of marriage, I realised I had made a huge mistake, but I decided to live by it and make it work. I tried to make it work for another 12 years.
There was no light at the end of the tunnel for me. There was not a single moment of happiness or joy during those 12 years. But I still tried making it work.
” the actress said. Zeenat also stated that Mazhar’s parents turned up against him. After his death, they didn’t let inherit any of his husband’s properties.
In fact, she was refused to attend Khan’s last rites. Despite such hardships, Zeenat never gave up and is still an inspiration to all the actresses out there. She is now 72 and living her single life alongside her two sons- Zahaan and Azaan Khan.
