Ronit Bose Roy was born on 11 October 1965 in Nagpur, Maharashtra. The actor made debut with the film Jaan Tere Naam in 1992 and gained recognition for his performance. The film became a commercial success.

Remembering an incident, Ronit said to Lehren, “My first superstar experience was with Rajesh Khanna, sir.” He added, “I quietly stood behind a mirror, witnessing the incident unfold with a large crowd blocking the road, preventing entry. It was then I decided I wanted to become a hero and attain success like Rajesh Khanna.

” After he failed to make it in the film industry, Ronit started to focus in the TV industry and became a name with shows like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Adaalat, and more. Despite achieving fame in television, he encountered a period when he had no work and got frustrated. During a conversation with Podcast Redcarpet, he shared, “There was a time when my debut film was a silver jubilee, and after that I didn’t get any work.

I have no idea why. I got frustrated. I got no work.

I got so scared. I had rent to pay, I had to feed myself. What would you do with no money? So I kind of signed the wrong films, and they flopped.

Then I went back to square one and had no work.” The actor further explained, “My alcoholism started out of that frustration. After that, everything went south.

My life went into the gutter. Somehow the alcohol would come. I would wake up at 3 o'clock and then have a hangover.

It just made things worse. I was written off by the industry. They said he is finished.
