There’s also an 8th-generation NPU with 50 TOPS of hardware-accelerated AI performance, and the chip supports Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6, and it can connect to two external 4K displays. Chromebook Plus devices powered by the Kompanio Ultra will be available in the coming months.
MediaTek says, and it is of course promising all-day battery and the best performance yet in any Chromebook. But it’s difficult to look at this and not see the basis for a pretty competitive Copilot+ PC.
