MCOCA suspect arrested for vandalising vehicles

Pune: The Chandannagar police on April 19 arrested wanted criminal 20-year-old Nishant Bhalerao , a resident of Ganeshnagar in Wadgaon Sheri, under the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act . Bhalerao was on the run in a case relating to the vandalism of vehicles on Old Mundha Road registered with the Chandannagar police on Oct 10, 2023. A police team under senior inspector Seema Dhakane arrested Bhalerao from his hideout in Kharadi following a tip-off.
