As we approach Christmas it can only mean one thing - festive fast food items are back. Many restaurants across the country are once again rolling out seasonal menus to celebrate Christmas, and the 2024 offerings certainly do not disappoint. Nick Drewe, trend expert at online discount platform Wethrift , has analysed search data and restaurant menus to reveal the newest, unique items and which are the most anticipated.
These included popular fast food chains McDonald’s , KFC , Popeyes and Greggs . These restaurants have released their festive menus at different times with some available to purchase now. Let’s take a look at their festive menus and how much the items will cost.
McDonald's In the past 30 days, searches for the McDonald’s festive menu have skyrocketed by an astounding 1,567 percent in the UK. The McDonald’s festive menu has been a staple for Brits for as long as anyone can remember, and this year’s menu is sure to please. Big Tasty® meal - £7.

KFC Although offering a smaller menu compared to other franchises, KFC has seen a 488 percent increase in searches for their festive menu, and they’ve brought back some fan-favourite winter items. The ‘Stuffing Stacker Burger’, also available as a ‘tower’ burger, returns at £8.99.
It includes a brioche-style bun with an Original Recipe fillet, a sage and onion stuffing patty, burger dressing, lettuce, cheese and a spicy cranberry sauce. They’ve also released a bucket meal starting at £19.99, with prices reaching up to £23.

Popeyes This year, Popeyes has launched its first-ever Christmas menu in the UK, following great success with a trial run in the US over the past few years. The festive menu includes a ‘Festive Superstack’, a burger featuring the iconic chicken fillet, a sage and onion hash brown, Emmental cheese, and cranberry and habanero sauce.
