Ludhiana: The MC sealed eight shops constructed illegally in Industrial area-B on Monday as part of its crackdown on illegal structures. Assistant town planner (ATP Zone-C), Jagdeep Singh said that the civic body recently received a complaint against illegal construction of shops. He added that the shops had been sealed on the directions of MC commissioner Sandeep Rishi and shop owners had been warned of strict legal action if they continued the illegal construction.
