Mayo builder John Reddington to expand property arm with Malaysian backers

Mayo builder John Reddington’s UK business, JRL Group, plans to expand its property division after Malaysian construction group IJM took a 50pc stake in the business in November for £50m. The two companies are also building a property on the Royal Mint Gardens site in London, overlooking Tower Bridge. Located on a plot leased to Irish-owned Staycity Group, the 15-storey block will comprise 463 rooms for its Wilde brand, alongside 79 residential units.
