Mat Sabu visits Putra Heights blast victims, offers aid and support

SUBANG JAYA: Agriculture and Food Security Minister Datuk Seri Mohamad Sabu visited the temporary evacuation centre (PPS) at the Putra Heights Mosque on Friday to perform prayers, show solidarity with the victims of the recent gas pipeline explosion, and provide financial aid.

SUBANG JAYA: Agriculture and Food Security Minister Datuk Seri Mohamad Sabu visited the temporary evacuation centre (PPS) at the Putra Heights Mosque on Friday to perform prayers, show solidarity with the victims of the recent gas pipeline explosion, and provide financial aid.During the visit, Mohamad presented a cheque to cover utility expenses for both the mosque and the relief centre.He also distributed duit Raya to the victims as a gesture of support during this difficult time.

Also present at the PPS today were Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari, Digital Minister Gobind Singh Deo, Higher Education Minister Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir, and Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Dzulkefly Ahmad.Earlier, it was reported that Mohamad had urged the blast victims to file police reports promptly to ensure that appropriate action could be taken.© New Straits Times Press (M) Bhd.
