MASAM Removes 1,050 Mines, Unexploded Ordnance in Yemen

[21/04/2025 12:12] ADEN-SABA The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center's (MASAM) mine clearance project has removed 1,050 landmines, unexploded ordnance, and explosive devices planted by Houthi militia in Yemen. This brings the total number of mines removed since the beginning of April to 2,548. According to MASAM, its field teams have cleared a total of 488,656 mines, unexploded ordnance, and explosive devices since the project's launch.

Additionally, MASAM has cleared 66,303,656 square meters of Yemeni land previously contaminated with mines and explosive devices. The project continues to work towards making Yemeni lands safe from these threats..
