Martyred cops pride of police force: Vehari DPO

Vehari - On the directives of District Police Officer Vehari Mansoor Aman a ceremony was held at the grave of Shaheed Constable Ghulam Farid to mark his 16th martyrdom anniversary. A smartly turned-out police contingent presented a salute, laid a floral wreath, and offered prayers. DPO Mansoor Aman paid tribute, stating that police martyrs are the pride of the force, and their sacrifices for peace and security will never be forgotten.

He reaffirmed the Punjab Police’s commitment to the welfare of martyrs’ families, calling them an integral part of the police family. Constable Ghulam Farid embraced martyrdom while protecting a citizen during a court appearance, showing exceptional courage in the line of duty. His bravery remains etched in police history.
