May 21, 1963 - April 5, 2025 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marsha Jean Burke, a mother, grandmother, and friend. Marsha passed away peacefully near her hometown on April 5, 2025, after a long battle with complex and chronic illnesses. Marsha was born in Missoula, MT on May 21, 1963.
As a young mother, she was full of life and deeply passionate about her children, Justin Ray Burke and Johnny Ray Burke, both of Missoula, MT. Marsha never missed an opportunity for Montana adventures with her boys, from huckleberry picking to lake days and camping. Her love and dedication to them during their early years will always be cherished.
She loved her daughters-in-law, Stephanie Burke (Johnny Burke) and Kaley Burke (Justin Burke), and adored her grandchildren, Owen, Braden, and Karver Burke, finding immense joy in their presence. Marsha was previously married to her childhood sweetheart, John Burke, of Missoula, MT, though they later divorced. Marsha was passionate about her pets, especially her cats.
Her compassion for animals was a defining part of her life. In accordance with Marsha's wishes, no formal service will be held. In lieu of flowers, a contribution to a local animal shelter would be a fitting tribute to her love for all animals.
