Marin gardeners showcase varieties at tomato sale

The University of California Marin Master Gardeners program held its annual markets in Greenbrae and Novato.

The roster of varieties included black and brown boar; black krim; carmello; chef’s choice orange; Cherokee green; Cherokee purple; early girl; granadero; Japanese black trifele; Juliet; magic bullet; mortgage lifter; Oaxacan jewel; pink Berkeley tie dye; sun gold; and super sweet 100.The tomato sale raises money for the organization’s educational programs at schools, community gardens and elsewhere..
